Abstract
Although President Macron was re-elected President of France for 5 more years, the extremist political forces had never been so strong in the Gallic country, demonstrating the disruption of the traditional parties, as well as the success of the anti-system discourses of the extreme left and right. The disaffection of the French for their leader has to do with his confrontational and provocative communication style, as well as his «Jupitarian» handling of power. The legislative elections to come will be the litmus test for the president and his ruling party.
