Abstract
The paper analyzes the 2023 presidential elections in Argentina, which take place in a context of deep economic crisis, with negative effects on society. It analyzes the irruption of the economist and libertarian influencer Javier Milei and his electoral performance, which erodes the biciolalitional structure of the existing competition in that country since 2015. It deals with the performance of the center-right coalition Juntos por el Cambio and the Peronist coalition Unión por la Patria and concludes with some reflections on the possible coordinates that will organize the second round of elections.
